A stray bloom (Closed to immortalmarshal)
Sep. 29th, 2020 06:40 pmSo we might've picked up a stray
Not that this text would be anything new to Cor, who likely remembered plenty of moments when he'd gotten similar contacts, accompanied by pictures of whatever poor unfortunate animal Noct had taken to. Unusually though, this one didn't come with anything of the sort.
Kinda skittish. Meet us by the car in about 30?
The four had gotten some information from their stray, had managed to find more and much more disturbing information in some of the labs located near the 'Tower' that he'd claimed to have run from. He didn't look to be in the best condition, didn't seem to be ready for a fight in any case, and Ignis had sensibly pointed out that perhaps heading back for the moment might be wise, give them a chance to both see the young man to safety, reequip and come up with a proper plan before tackling the place properly, given the presence of what basically amounted to many, many hostages.
As skittish as Iris was around them all, it was Ignis and Noct who seemed to be the least upsetting to him, and so it was they who were delegated to the back seat, giving the teen what space they could on the trip, somewhat relieved to see when he'd finally drifted to sleep, curled tight against the side of the door, burrowed as far under the tattered coat he was wrapped in as he could get, not even stirring when the car finally rolled to a stop, even Prompto minding his noise levels as he clambered out along with the others, hoping to spy Cor either waiting nearby or on his way to meet them.
